Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who controls your data

GamesAndBits ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Company name: YOUR LEGAL COMPANY NAME
  • Business address: YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS
  • Email: support@example.com

2. What we collect and why

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and shipping address — to fulfill and ship your order
  • Order details (items, price, order history) — to process your order and handle any support requests

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe processes it directly under its own PCI-DSS compliant security standards.

3. Cookies & local storage

We keep this deliberately minimal. We use:

  • A functional cookie to avoid counting the same product view twice — no personal data, expires after 24 hours.
  • Local browser storage to remember what's in your shopping cart between visits. This stays on your device and isn't sent to any third party.

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

4. Who we share data with

To fulfill your order, necessary details are shared with:

  • Stripe — to process payment securely
  • Our shipping suppliers — your name and delivery address, to ship your order to you

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep order records for as long as needed to handle returns, support requests, and to meet our legal/tax obligations, after which they're deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Request that we restrict how we process your data
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us via our Contact page.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page.
